Reinstalling Windows

First step is to CLEAN reinstall windows. That means deleting everything on all the disks. Remember to create a local/offline account.

  • All Windows 10 and 11 versions are compatible.

  • If you are looking for Vanguard , so you MUST install windows 10

  • Note: Recommend going to windows 10

  1. Follow this to create a bootable USB using RUFUS: Click Me

  2. Restart PC and boot into USB (Keys are usually F8, F9, F11; depends on your motherboard. Spam the keys when restarting.)

  3. To clean ALL drives-

    • From inside Windows Setup, press Shift+F10 to open a command prompt window.

    • Type diskpart and enter.

    • Type list disk .(look for your disk number, check the size of the disk)

    • Type select disk <disk number>. example: select disk0 (select the disk you want to format)

    • Type clean.

    • Repeat for the rest of the disks

    DO NOT CLEAN YOUR USB DRIVE

  4. After cleaning all disks, proceed with reinstalling. Do not enter your Windows product key.

  5. Select your version of Windows, select Custom Install and install it in the suitable drive.

  6. Follow the steps that appear on screen.

TIPS

  • Make an offline account or a new Microsoft account. Do not login to your old one !

  • Do not login to OneDrive, Geforce Experience, or Logitech G Hub with the old account. (Make new).
